A wonderful gift! Meow!

I am such a bleeding heart animal freak!

About a week ago this tiny little cat wandered into our office warehouse and decided to stay there. We work in a very industrial area highways, factories, car dealerships and warehouses. Little kitty discovered a place to be warm, a place to socialize with humans and a good chance of scoring some lunch. Problem was that she kept sneaking inside our attached office and disturbing our staff and our dog Gizmo who comes to work with us. This little cat had a bright red bell tied around her neck with some string so she obviously had a human family before. My idea is that she was probably taken on by some of the labourers that were building a car dealership across the lane, when the building was completed the owners moved on to a different job site she did not.

We went away for the weekend and when we returned to work on Monday there she was mewing her pretty little head off. Trouble around the office resumed, and we eventually discovered our driver and our sewer trying to place her into a box. When we asked what they were doing they very casually told us they were going to put her in a box and drop her off on the side of the freeway. My Man and I immediately took the cat, and took her to the vet. We had her checked out, and she passed the health test, and I was surprised to find out she didnt have fleas or worms. We took her home that evening, and she has become part of the family. There was hardly a problem getting her acquainted with our other adopted cat and our dog. They are all getting along just fine, and I have never felt so good about a decision made so quickly before. I think it was really meant to be!

She is just a sweet bundle of purrs and mews and sweetness. Such a wonderful birthday present and made my shitty day dissipate into thin air!

Welcome aboard Milla!
